Over the past couple of weeks I have been setting various business goals for 2008 and really thinking about what I would like to accomplish. Well, today I officially started working on one huge goal that I have been dreaming about for a long time: Getting Published. I have been published many, many times in the past when working at my first job out of school at the Red Wing Republican Eagle, but I haven't been published as "Erika McCauley Photographers" yet. I just think that it would be such a cool thing and a major step in my career. So, it's time to get going on the submissions! I plan on submitting work to wedding magazines and also to nature and outdoor photography magazines as well. I have hundreds of photos from New Zealand that are screaming to be printed on shiny magazine pages! I really hope I can achieve this goal. You'll be the first to hear about it if I do! :)
